HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound)

Mechanism:

HIFU machine delivers ultrasound energy from devices which travels from epidermis to deep dermis especially to reach target “superficial muscle aponeurotic system” (SMAS) which extends from plasma muscle in the neck to face and up to the temporal region. Focused thermal energy causes coagulation in deep tissues (without affecting epidermis) resulting in the formation of new collagen ,elastin, fibrin, and connective structure of skin.
